What Happens When My Kid Browses the Xmas Clearance Shelves

Yes, it's a little late for a Christmas themed post...but this is totally more post-Christmas-clearance-shopping themed. Should I even feel guilty? No. Because he's my kid. And if I want to dress him in a Santa hat and a small dog costume I can, dammit.

This is likely not what you had in mind when I said I might post more, but hey, it's a start.

When Burrito and Tamale's very first Halloween costume (at less than a month old) fell through because instead of receiving one of the costumes I'd ordered in August I received a notification a few days before Halloween that it was out of stock. I frantically browsed the Target costume aisles for anything that would work for a fun twin theme, but almost all of the baby costumes were gone. There were, however, A LOT of dog costumes left. My friend tried to convince me to dress them in dog costumes because no one would know. I refused and splurged for overnight shipping.

Gabriel is big-pimpin' in his doggie cape, though.
