Or me, for actually posting about my upcoming resignation before I had delivered it. Here. On a semi-anonymous internet blog where I don't use my real name even. And hardly ever put up pictures of myself. Still. Pretty dumb move. (though I'm still not convinced this was the source).

But seriously. You'd have to know me in order to know who to tell and the chain couldn't have been very long to have made it to my bosses phone via text message by 10am on a Monday morning.
*Contemplates shutting down blog altogether* But, naaaaahhhh. Not ready for that.
You pretty much suck. And you know who you are. I will be more careful in the future along all lines.
And at least I didn't have to set up a formal meeting to deliver my resignation. Since you did it for me. So thanks for that.

WOW! Some people are so rude! I got mad when a "friend" of mine stalked all my favorite blogs (I referred her to a few) to find a comment that sounded like me, and then read my entire blog, ad confirmed, via FB, that yes, this was my blog.
It really ruins all of your jokes and jabs when you know everyone will be wondering just who you're talking about. I like anonymous posting much better.

So glad you aren't shutting down! It's the only way I know what's going on with you! I thought about starting a whole new blog that was completely anonymous just for that reason.
Do you think maybe the same person has been blabbing that you were unhappy at work? Could have been making things worse for you without you realising? At least it will all be over soon!
You know what is so incredibly annoying about this? (I'm sure you do but I'm going to say it anyway.)
Just because you post it on your blog does not make it that persons news to tell. If it were good news (i.e. baby announcement etc.) it STILL wouldn't be their news to tell.

I had another "venting" blog where I was vague as vague could be. No names and barely any clues as to what I was really talking about. I thought that was good. Til I realized certain people were reading and then assumed they were the ones I was blogging about. I hate to tell them they weren't that special for me to blog about. LOL. I finally had it and deleted it last week. I'm keeping my current blog as a journal of my pregnancy. I do miss my venting one though....I never knew just how much of stress reliever blogging was til it was gone.
I hope said asshat gave you an apology... or at least feels like the asshat they are.
I hope by now your new 2WW (AKA 2 weeks notice) is over and you don't work with such idiots!
Please start posting again soon; I miss you and I swear it wasn't me who told, since a) I don't know you or live anywhere near you and b) I must not quite keep up with the blog because I didn't know you HAD posted about resigning soon - now I want to know more, but you haven't posted in forever!
