Buhpooohls!

Ok. I think the most I got out of him was "Bups!" But that's cute enough, right?

Oh my sweet, sweet boy. My weekends are my treasured time. But try as I might to savor every moment they slip through my fingers like 'wahdah'. We had the absolute best time this weekend. Playing. Blocks. Cuddling. Eating (me). Throwing food (him). It made me cry a little bit on Sunday night. And I missed him terribly today.

The latest craze in our house are mega blocks. You know, gigantic lego-esque things that they are. Ohmahgahhhh. He puts two blocks together then looks over at me iimmediately. 'Holy Moly, Mama...did you SEE what I just DID. Like, allbymyself?!?' That is totally what he is saying. Then he puts on another block then looks over at me immediately again. 'Mom. For real. Did you see it that time? I am GOOD at this!'.

And then when he can't get the next one on this child throws himself down face-first onto the carpet and wails. Then lifts his head up as if to say, 'do you see this drama?', then emphatically throws his head back down and wails again. Then lifts his head up, puts both hands on his head and wails one more time, before finally giving up the ghost and returning to the block play.

Wow.

And I thought my WORKplace was dramatic. Oh I do so wish block drama were my job right now.
