Size Matters

When I placed my order I didn't entirely think the equation through. I didn't want to tell my husband I had made the purchase, since we are supposedly simultaneously 'saving money' and 'dieting' and my purchase completely underminded both of these concepts. Still, I couldn't resist.

When Kym announced that her husband Frank was opening a bakery over at Etsy called Frank's Big Ones Bakery, I placed my order immediately. I chose the Chocolate Chip Pecan and clicked all the right buttons to be sure a dozen would arrive at my house by the end of the week.

I still didn't tell my husband.

I had nearly forgotten my moment of sweet tooth weakness when my husband called me at work the other day.

"Um. You got a package today. Did you order something?"

A package? What kind of package?

"It's from Frank. Frank's Big Ones......what did you get?"

First of all I would like to say that Frank's Big Ones are delicious. These are cookies. These are sweet cookies. These are rich cookies. These are 'break-me-off-a-piece-of-that-cuz-I'll-never-eat-it-all' good cookies. These cookies are straight up no joke c-o-o-k-i-e-s.

Second of all I would like to say Frank's Big Ones are notoriously B-I-G. They are gigantic. Now I know why Frank named his bakery 'Frank's Big Ones' - and that would be so he could hear people around the world marvel over just how big his big ones are. And they are. Big. Frank's big ones not only have a diameter that will challenge the dimensions of your mouth laterally, but a thickness that will give it something to chew on longitudinally as well.

I enjoyed Frank's Big Ones.

My husband enjoyed Frank's Big Ones.

My sister enjoyed Frank's Big Ones.

and we're going to be enjoying Frank's Big Ones until Wednesday. (because Wednesday I'm headed out to Washington D.C.)**

I encourage each and every person out there, be you hormone-saturated from fertility treatments or pregnancy, to head over the Frank's Big Ones Bakery and check them out for yourself (unless you're diabetic...in that case stay away).

**The D.C. trip snuck up awfully fast, didn't it?

Ohmygoodness, I am laughing hard. I'm supposed to be dieting, too, but now I think I'm going to be hearing "go get some of Frank's Big Ones!" in my sleep.

Enjoy your trip to our nation's capital! Too bad you won't be in San Fran, but maybe next time. :)
