T minus three weeks and counting for the onset of our IVF frozen embryo cycle...until then our reproductive dreams are in the deep freezer.
"We still have some future potential tucked away in the icebox like a pint of chocolate-raspberry gelato on a rainy day. It’s an incredible thought. In my faraway dreams I wonder if those frozen dreams may be the warm bundle I rock to sleep at night."
You can head over to Fertility Authority to read my latest post, 'Icebox Dreams'.

Dude, I am so stoked for you guys! I hope your totsicles become your warm bundles of joy very soon!!!
MMMM, gelato. Oh, sorry, hope the next three weeks goes by fast.
Can't wait for the thaw! Good luck.
Babe...GORGEOUS post. I hope those hopes that are so safely tucked away are the ones you will rock to sleep at night.
Love you - you know you have my prayers.
I'm a big believer in frozen cycles, obviously, even though I have to confess it gives me the screaming willies to imagine that the baby inside me was frozen solid for several months - and that I came this close to never thawing them out at all because I knew it was useless.
Here's to frozen progeny and to all the hopes and dreams we pin on them. You're in my thoughts, and this post just might haunt me the next time I pull a pint of Ben & Jerry's out of the fridge...
Here's to Icebox Dreams. May yours come true!
So hoping that those lil froze babes are yours to hold in 9 months and then forever.
Ps may I say I'm totally honored you read my blog.
AND you comment.
That makes me exicited..
Coz your awesome.

This post made me one part excited for you and one part excited for gelato.....
Oh! I loved this post! Am wishing you "champagne wishes and frozen dreams"!
My snow babies are still on ice, too!
Here's to your three weeks going by in wink , and may your frostiest dreams come true...
Hi, I just wanted to say that today is the first time i came across your blog. I am going through almost the same thing you are going through,m my bf and i have been ttc for 2.5 yrs, he also has a low sperm count.
We went on a ttc break, and we have decided to start from scratch. Hope to hear from you soon

Hope the time flies by and that you find the pot of gold at the end of the very expensive rainbow!
I really am hoping so muuc for you and your little popsicles...(embiecicles?)
Three weeks will quickly go by and you'll be there before you know it. Good luck with everything. I'm totally cheering you guys on! :-D
Six day hatched blasts seems like a damned good shot at pregnancy to me. Those are some seriously motivated embryos! I'm sure that my few embryos would have been MUCH bigger slackers after day 3.
:)
I hope you never get to do that "free" fresh cycle.
Great post at FA--I remember those "sorry" phone calls very well. You can definitely get the message from the first word. Sucks. Here's crossing everything that your next beta call goes much, much better!
great post Murgdan. I do hope that your thaw will bring the warm bundle to your arms. :))
big hugs
Girl, you are hard to keep up with for someone who doesn't make it to blogworld as often as she used to. (-;
Catching up...
I am so angry for you about your dad. Seriously. I would continue to pay him back, but I would do it 10 or 20 bucks at a time. He is more likely to spend that kind of money on day to day stuff...and the best he could get her for that would be a cheap fastfood meal.
On the truck balls... I have not seen them on CA, but heard about them on the radio a couple years ago. Apparently they are here too. Completely disgusting. I can't imagine trying to explain to my Grandma what those are.
Great post on FA. Sitting with you through your countdown and hoping you have a new countdown to due date really soon.
Here's to an awesome FET cycle! I am so glad you guys are going on vacay. There is nothing better than getting out of town to distract you from the countdown!!!
Another great article, Murgdan.
And even though they don't have conscious minds (yet!), I picture your little gelatos counting down the next 3 weeks in anticipation as well.
Three weeks will be here before you know it! Hoping your tenacious frostie children make your dreams come true. :)
mmmmmm Gelato. Good luck girl!!! Great article. Awesome!!
Best wishes with the frozen cycle! After 3 years of the infertility fun, the frozen embryos have paid off for me...two twins coming right up. Weird to think they were conceived almost a year ago and sat in a freezer for several months. I hope your cycle flies by with a positive test. You've earned it!
You are a brillian writer, Murgdan.
Thinking of you and your frozen embies!
YAY! We should be going through our transfers right around the same time! I pray that we both get our BFPs! Best of luck!
Looks like we will be VERY close in our FET CYCLE! Best of luck! I take my last BCP on Thursday!
Thank you for your link to the post. How incredibly cool to know that the kidcicles even started hatching. All good signs. I am hoping and wishing you all the best for your upcoming FET.
