Last night I made my husband look at my blog. He found my header to be terribly boring (it is, but it'll have to stay that way for now) and basically just looked the whole thing over with comments like "you should have made that bold, not italic," etc...so I guess that's just a guy for you. His last comment was "Why don't you have any pictures of Jack on here?" So. I told him I would show and tell Jack (in bold) today. I was happy to see I wasn't showing off the only furbaby on the WWW today too :-)
Jack is our one and only (therefore quite spoiled) furbaby. We adopted him about 6 months ago. Luckily my husband finally gave in to my 5 years worth of pleading and we went down to the animal shelter and picked out our Jack.
He was picked up as a stray on Valentine's Day. After choosing him he had to go to be neutered before we were allowed to bring him home. After his chop chop surgery, they called us to pick him up...but when we got to the shelter (after an hour's drive) he was GONE! He had been delivered, by mistake, across town to a different adoption center, who was closed for the day. I was so sad...my poor new baby driven all over town
They were able to track him down and we picked him up the next day. The trauma of it all had gotten him sick with a runny nose and cough, and he was so scared when we got there he just balled up on the floor and wouldn't even walk.
He now spends his days between a relaxing home life...and doggie daycare for playtime while we're working. He's the sweetest little guy in the world...
Meet Jack...(his cousin Allie the Aussie is in the background)

Jack is too cute! I'm glad that you were able to find him after tehy mistakenly lost him!!
My husband isn't great with my blog either. It freaks me out when he reads it though. He never used to do that.
Jack is so handsome. How do you go with toys for him? Does he destroy your plants? Our dog is driving me crazy at the moment.
He's adorable. Love how he lies with his back legs stretched like a frog!
Too cute!
What a cute dog. That's a bit alarming that you had picked him and then they lost him. Yikes. Glad it all turned out great anyways.
What a beautiful boy!! Spoiled is the way all furbabies should be . . . just ask my cats.
