Show and Tell Flower Show

Show and Tell

It's show and tell time again...

This week I wasn't really sure what to show...so I dug through whatever old pictures I have stored on my computer and found some documentation of this day...

The Southeastern Flower Show!

It's a flower show held once a year, usually in February, and it's always such a good time to get a refreshing infusion of the Spring to come after a long Winter....Here are a few of my adventures from that day...

This is a picture of a "Flower Bed"...quite literally. This was at the entrance of the show and it was impressive to see it suspended from the ceiling. It was composed of all different blooms.

This was a display of an upside down tool shed. I found it most amusing that at least one evil witch had gotten something dropped down on her...

This was another cute little setup they had...the theme "Drought Tolerant Plants" last year...

And finally...I love these little miniature gardens. They make me think of when I was a child playing make-believe...inventing imaginary fantasy worlds. Ok. I still do a little bit of that now...but that's another post I guess.

Heeheee! I am in love with all things mini, so I love the mini garden idea! DH is unhappy with me today, because he knows I love Welsh Corgis (mini dog...hehe!) and he's not much of a dog person. My friend and I went to the beach today, and we saw a guy with one. She was so friendly! I told her she was a cutie pie, and she came over and sat on my feet. Watching her wag that little nub where her tail should be just cracked me up! So all day since, I've been telling him we should get one. Want want want! =)

That's hilarious, particularly the upside down one.

I like the drought tlerant plants display. Now those are my kind of plants. Not because I live in the desert, but because I forget to water!
